He was hooked on her, sense the first day.
something about the way that she learned how to live
with out what he once found to be the only things to live for
the power to hold handle and hurt at the will of human command.
But now he saw that what he once found so dear, and mocked others
in for their lack of appreciation of it, was no longer the only way
in which to live well.
